sadness

so many in our time

seek to blame their sadness

on others


and their anger

and a lot of other not very nice stuff


blame is how we through our truth away


our willingness to accept responsibility

for our self

and our chosen conduct


there is a terrible price

for self rejection


and a worse one

for getting someone to accept it

the responsibility for our self


pretty arrogant egosistical stuff to me


i ain't no where near that brave


and have a pretty substance able ego my self

which is just little old me


seem to be learning how to stand up and sit down at the same time
