hiding

a girl tried to hide behind me one

maybe more than once

i haven't always been paying attention


that didn't work out so well at first

all i did was encourage her to face her self

and face the day


then she could try facing me


have never been very good a lying to girls

i tried that once

and very quickly gave that once


that is an escape word

and there ain't no escape from life
