they are opposites
and the same
our ideas of love
lead us to hate
true love is not an idea
true love is being
and open to all
without prejudice
without separation
life is whole
our isolating ideas
make us separate
and incomplete
which can only lead to want
and our eventual destruction
at the hands of our greed
