true religion
does not teach the children to hide
in shame and fearfulness
and then show them a way to live
and the price they must pay
there is no price for life
and those that say there is
no nothing of life
and so many in our time
seek to pay for the gift
which is just a cruel joke
and in no way funny
there was a time i was mad
about this stupid game we play
but being mad about life
ain't no way to live
the gift if forever free
and to seek what can never be lost
is no where to go
