once life here was about life
about the human experience
our fellow creatures
and the natural world life
today life for us is mostly about
business and politics and religion
and education and money
maybe we are headed to somewhere
better than where we were
i am not convinced
it seems to me
that we are being talked out
of being who we would be
if a system was not running our lives
a system is a thing
an artificial thing created by humans
am not a big fan of artificial life
and this one is a poor imitation of life
