have tasted the fruits
of the modern world thing
it left a bitter taste in my mouth
am glad i am not what i once was
a few lives back
when i would have had a sword in my hand
shouting "to the death" to the oppressors of our time
that didn't help back then
and it won't help now
our truth is the only gift
all our hopes and wishes
is what got us here
escape is a false god
as is security
