most of us have far too much sympathy for ourselves
mostly taught to us by others
a child finding its own way is no longer permitted
anger is a form of self pity
an aggressive way of feeling sorry for ourselves
sympathy and pity are a disease promoted by so many
and large numbers of us are addicted to them
wanting sympathy is a very vulnerable position to occupy
and can be dangerious
hiding our self pity from ourself doesn't help much either
usually it just grows faster
