the natural order

we all have a natural position

in the natural order

and no one gets a vote

or gets to choose who they are


we live in the time

of the unnatural order

an artificial order

where someone somewhere

is pulling the strings

a time of great manipulation


when i first noticed our situation

the situation made me mad

now mostly just sad


we have come to believe

that we have the right

and even obligation

to control and dominate life


pretty scary stuff to me

all this arrogance and belief

in our silly little ideas


life is sacred

and we have lost our way


being is a gift

life is a gift

and so many humans

seem to think they can do better


and all i can do

is be myself

and see how it all works out


playing roles with life

is a very dangerious game

and usually not very rewarding
