sad

am a really sad person

took me a long time to admit that

which is why i tried so hard to be happy


truth is friend or foe

as we choose


and then there is always the other option

which is life without choosing



and perhaps just being

as we are

where we are

and what ever comes next



am pretty sure there is no security here

in spite of what they try to sell us
