dreamers

we humans have become dreamers

we have been taught to believe

and believing is not knowing


we have been taught to have faith in the words of others

faith is blind devotion to an idea

and words are often just noise people make

to sell us something or other


face life for your self

if you can as you can

is all i can say to me


would say something to you if i could see you

but am still learning to see me
