love and truth

love and truth are one

there comes a time

to face our truth

and be our truth

as we naturally are

and not as we think we are

or think we should be


being is not a product of thought

nor are love and truth


confusion and conflict

and hatefulness and war

are products of thought

and all the conflicting ideas

we humans have come up with


sometimes i still wonder

just how much more

our little world can take

and still support life

which is what we are

what we all are

and the creatures of the field

and the field


without respect for life

for all life

we are a threat to life

to ourselves

and our little world
