i learned about war

over a time

and that led to me being a big fan of peace


if such is still possible

for those who have become so violent

as we have become

and so unforgiving


so many here speak of jesus

so few listened to what he said

forgiveness ain't so popular in our time

even with those we like


and blind forgiveness is worse

than no forgiveness at all
