respect

respect is not something some one gives or pays another

that is bribery


respect is only real when for all Life

a comment on the human race

we humans

in the past few thousand years

have managed to turn our wonderful little world

into a pretty fucked up mess


and we are getting better at it every day


Life doesn't have to be like that

but we have to learn to respect Life

all Life

where ever we find Life

starting with our Self

hate

anger is an aggressive expression of self-pity

hate is passionate expression of self-pity

and a monstrous ego problem of control freaks

and pure poison to the self and our world

seeing

so many today see what they want to see

and don't see what they don't want to see

which is a recipe for blindness


so many today believe what they want to believe

and don't believe what they don't want to believe

which is a recipe for ignorance

life

most people seem to want life to get personal


but life is about everybody


about everyone


so life seems to me



i wasn't  offered a choice

and didn't feel like i needed one


all sounded like a lot more fun to me


and still does


yesterdays ideas were dead when they were born



i just be me as i can


that's all i have got

which seems mostly

to have me


which is perhaps

a great gift


we shall see

knowing

knowing is retrospective

of the past


today is not about yesterday

now is not about tomorrow

lifes manifestations change

life is the real in the sequence

love

love is not based on personal profit

or personal gratification


love is based on what needs to be done


and i don't mean what you want life to be

i mean life being what life is

greed and selfishness

the greatest curse of all

and a great plague in our time


those that serve life

do not control or enslave life


and life is all that actually exists

hate

the ultimate self pity

and the source of vengeance

which i mentioned earlier

a very perverse expression

of personal gratification


these a not honorable callings

religions

and no fan of religions


these are groups of people

that require complete submission

to their idea of god


and there are so many ideas

about what to submit to


these are the exploiters and manipulators


which is an abuse of life


i don't know what anyone else should do


i don't know what i should do


i just be my self as i can

and keep up with life as i can


control of life is not my thing


i sure as hell ain't qualified for that


and i didn't find controlling my self

very much fun


religious people seem such a serious bunch

and not my thing at all

vengeance

am pretty sure vengeance

is the most insane word of all


the most selfish

the most greedy

and the most hateful


a lethal dose of self pity


not much fun over there

just a lot of perverse and painful

gratification


not much fun in that


unless you are really fucked up

as we called that stuff back in high school


where i first learned about this stuff

a quiet day

and i ain't being lazy

or bored


just savoring the moment

if we humans would just

let Life be Life


control is a crime against Life

and a serious misunderstanding


Peace is the gift of Being

being is not a physical plane thing


being is your relationship with your self

which is correct

yet i am neither christian or muslim or jew

or any other religious organization


and i ain't selling nothing

precious few

tho precious few
still serve the plan
a voice inside
says we still can

return to that
which is us all
the spirit lives
i've heard it's call

in silence when
the mind is still
it's presence grows
and seems to fill

my heart and soul
with renewed knowing
almost like
life's hand is sowing

blessings which we
don't yet see
eternal love
for you and me

the ancients knew
of this great spirit
though modern man
has come to fear it

we seek today
to serve ourselves
yet still  -  in every
heart it dwells

the life that is
the source of all
the one in many
still does call

and seeks to share
it's boundless love
through kindness
to redeem the dove

and restore all
to love and grace
to return joy to
each child's face
