asked if i was crazy

i said no
i don't think so
but i might be lazy

all i want to do is play
and fill some girl with fun

my conscience doesn't bother me
that part is surely done

i like to do the things i like

to have some fun  -  make some one laugh
don't censor what you say

just be your self  -  it's lifes own plan
and you must live it true

that's not the life for you

the past is dead  -  ideas burned

there's nothing that you lack

of all the people that i meet

with outer shell they've learned to hide

all are one  -  as has been spoken
mostly long ago
still i feel i know them all
the bond is still unbroken

Life has exposed me to in this experience

there have been others

i have been truly blessed

this is what life chooses

eescape is an illusion

our suffering is self imposed

when not actually forbidden  -
  certainly frowned upon

life is the truth of all existence

the essential truth of all existence is love

love is not popular

look around

very few even smile
happiness is rare
anger and sarcasim all the rage
greed and pride and shame in abundance

and the terrible fear

life has not forsaken us
we have forsaken ourselves
we have lost the way
we have been misled
we believe in the great lie that
  our culture has become
we want what is not real or unnatural
  because we are not real or natural
our presence is no longer valid  -
  except for the children for a while
untile we demand that the conform
  to the great lie

and most do

the brutality is too great

times of conflict

in times of great conflict
like these that i see
it's hard to make judgement
like just what to be

confusion and chaos
will keep up uptight
that by itself
makes it hard to know right

perhaps if we slow down
and just clear our head
give up the ideas
that make us brain dead

cause when this one says this
and another says that
we settle the issue
with fist and with bat

most think they know something
but i think we don't
we outsmart ourselves
with ideas that won't

fit in with nature
which has it's own plan
which we disregard
because we now can

if we took the time
and gave life a look
it just might not be
as we read in some book

a mind that's not made up
and fused with belief
might find something more
and provide some relief

but if no one will face
that they just might be wrong
we may someday look up
and find our world gone
