life is a process of becoming

mostly we just get to hang in there

and keep up as we can

if we have any sense left at all

modern humans

that really sounds silly to me


we modern humans think too much

this is a serious affliction

which keeps our emotional nature

in chaos most of the time

which leads so many to medicate themselves

with alcohol and drugs

drugs are really growing as we seek to escape ourselves


all this thinking is a result of our training

which starts very early in our lives for most of us

we were never permitted to get comfortable with ourselves

which all children require to be who they are


we are being told who to be

and how to perform


we are free as long as we conform to the rules others make for us

if not we are punished severely


awareness is not a result of thought


the native population were not often great thinkers

but they were still human beings


european invaders pretty much eliminated the human beings on this planet

love

wanting some one

is not an expression of love


wanting can never be

an expression of love


consumerism cultivates want

and dependency

as do drug dealers


sometimes it seems to me

we should look at what we are doing


love can only be free

without expectation of reward

it was quite a shock to me

when i realized we are all virgins

what would i say to the world

after all this time

but our minds have been had

but each must accept
his own part of the debt

so many in our time seem to think

that life is to be controlled


they control their selves

they require the children to submit to control

and also control their self


such behaviour is insane to me

and only leads to out of control


life is forever free


as for me

i mostly just keep up with life as i can

to be free of want

one must give up wanting

and not wanting


and our world makes that pretty difficult


getting us to want something or other

is what business is based on in our time


consumerism took it to the next level


soon even the children were targets
