under the correct circumstances

with no respect for life as whole
greed and power the new goal

the spirit lives but is repressed

to live it's truth as meant to be

the plan is not found in the head
nor from all the books we've read
love and truth are of the now
an open heart will show us how

we were trapped

and then they came up with credit cards

which are even better at keeping us in debt


as long as we owe them

we belong to them

and are no longer free

in spite of what america is often called


we consumers

are the gerbils

that keep the little wheel going round and round

and that ain't natural
