all our conflicting opinions

are the source of all the conflict in our world


and we sure seem to adore

our petty little accumulated opinions

which blind us to the truth of life

the pope made the news today when he said

unrestrained capitalism is the dung of the devil

i'm not into religions but i happen to agree


capitalism is the engine that drives the modern world

and capitalism is an unnatural act

as is most of our modern world


the deal here seems to me to be

how to exist in a world of unnatural acts

and not become an unnatural act

wanting

if we would give up wanting

being would be a whole lot easier

where we go

we can go anywhere

except where we have just been

or anywhere we have ever been

judgements

any judgement you pass on another

you pass on your self

that which has no name

and is all names

surrender

the only valid surrender

is to your self
