asking

i asked a man a question once

he said i don't know


i met another man once

he said he had never questioned


both seemed familiar to me


i just changed that last line

into past tense

life for me

life for me

is wait and see

no more chasing want

the human race

as long as we consider life a race

we will continue to fall behind life


competition and conflict has been our downfall

true life is a cooperation with life


life is forever sacred

yet so cheapened in our time

and so rarely respected

money

the bankers are the middle men

money makes big business possible


stuff is very cumbersome to deal with


it is much more efficient

to give pieces of paper to hired hands

to other humans to do the work

and then take the paper back from them

for the stuff they need to survive

and keep most of the money for your self


but it only works when those pieces of paper

are considered important


and paper ain't usually very tasteful

and not nutritional at all


today numbers on computers

and pieces of plastic

are replacing the paper

and they have even less nutritional value


but numbers on computers

are much easier to process and manipulate


it costs a lot of money

to produce and process all that money

my story

often times what i feel

and what i see

and what i hear

don't quite make sense to me

they don't always jive

as we once called that stuff


am just trying to keep up with this life experience

which i fortunately mostly find very interesting

and fairly often have great affection for


staying open to all is perhaps the greatest challenge

when we start accepting this and rejecting that

life falls to pieces


i am no fan of manipulating life

although i do trim my wifes hair

when she asks me to

wanting to be loved

what most people mean by that

is they want attention

usually with a well defined idea

of the type of attention they want


want is the clue

and manipulation is the game

fear

fears are like most dogs

only dangerous when you run from them

protection

a slave word

forget

there ain't no forgetting

yet we still try


those perscription drugs were a start

and then hair oh win became so popular

being so much cheaper


greater value always leads to cheapness

and the capitalist will never win their little game

yet they still try


and trying is knot the way to being

life

life became more interesting to me

when i came to find

life more interesting than me

change

the wheel is forever turning

yet the center is


the little people always win

dream killer

probably just another part of our therapy

the fig bush

spent time with a fig bush

picked some figs off of that bush


the girl bought a dehydrator

which the bush kept busy for a while


have been having dried figs and vanilla yogurt

for breakfast for the past few months of winter

and feel pretty fortunate


not sure what that means

if anything


have been no fan of winter in this life

and i actually tried a couple of times

health care

those that make their living off the sick

rarely take serious interest in a cure

a cure would put them out of work


i realize some will not care for such words

but truth may exist beyond our petty little ideas


ideas are products of thought


awareness is not a product of thought

nor is being

remembering

remembering too much

can slow one down a bit

which may be theaurapitic

in some cases

not so much in others


never forgetting any experience

yet always being in the now

may be a clue

The Princess and the Pea

a story i once read

a fairy tale actually

and i still remember meeting her

self worth

an inflated sense of self worth

is a symptom of insecurity

as is premeditated humility

like

if we don't like our self

we won't be able to like

all us other selfs

except maybe those that agree with us


if we like our self

we won't be able to like

all us other selfs

except maybe those that agree with us


like is just an opinion

which is just a conditioned guess


perhaps accepting our self as we are

is a clue

feelings

our feelings don't reveal who we are

but can be a clue as to what we are capable of

pisces

the art of touching someone

without leaving any fingerprints

creation

creation was more than a long time ago

creation is forever now


there is no being out of touch with life

there is (because of our free will)

the possibility of being out of sync with life


we are not our frustrations and desires and anger

those are the poisons we subject our self to

when life won't submit to our will


anger is only self pity

and just another way to degrade our Self

and Self is All That Is

likes and dislikes

if we have strong likes

we will have strong dislikes

and so we divide our self

and become an emotional disorder


read a book called the way of life

more than once a long time ago


and a lot of other stuff

was looking for answers back then

not so much anymore


nerver found any answers

but did find a few clues

or maybe they found me

children

when the children

are not allowed to find their own way

there will be great conflict

both upon the land

and in the soul of man

selfishness and greed

one of mankind's greatest afflictions

and one of the most popular

and no cure in sight

but mostly we ain't looking

and continue to infect the children

with our crimes against life


don't really care much for saying these things

but we each bear some responsibility

for this situation we find our self in

and our little world is in peril

a human being

science considers us a thing that does stuff

teachers consider us things that need to memorize stuff

mostly to play by the rules

religion considers us a failure that needs to be redeemed

(not sure what redeemed means  -  was usually
 something about coupons and lottery tickets)

capitalism considers us a pawn in their money game

and money is just pieces of paper we are told has value

and on and on the story goes


the sacredness of life is rarely considered

and life is not a thing

but most just see reflections


we mostly just project our little ideas on life

and expect all others to agree


a human being is pretty rare in our time


mostly i see humans trying to be some idea

which is a great crime upon our self


we are

and being is the gift


if we do not respect our self

and all selves

the sellers of lies about us will win

and i do not consider winning the point of life


life is beyond my comprehension

and life is what we are


i chased understanding for quite a while

not so much anymore


being is far less frustrating

sex

a guy i know once told me

that sex was only for procreation


i have always considered sex recreation

and i still do

when i met my wife

she's my friend

calm down

have been enrolled in that course

for what seems like a long time


i found my human self very overstimulating

and all those ideas in my head

made me a little crazy for a while


not sure how i am doing

but i am still here

and still love life most of the time


am still not sure what love means

i don't think about it much anymore

love is an experience

and far beyond any little human idea

answers

have yet to find any answers here

but a few clues have found me

being

all ideas of being

can only limit being


ideas are all ways limited


ideas are bubbles blown in the ocean

life is the ocean


humans are so fond of their ideas

and all these ideas are mostly in constant conflict

when not kissing each others ass


what we are is so much more

than what we think we are


only stupid people think a lot

we who have yet to find our way

thinking

thinking is obviously modern humans

greatest affliction

and is so early and eagerly cultivated

in the children


remember the rules

do what i tell you

don't forget who you are

but by then they already have


awareness is not a product of thought

awareness is a product of being

puzzles

when humans seek not to manifest their truth

they become puzzles

to those that seek to understand them

and they think their secret is safe


puzzles are at best a curiosity

and understanding has only a casual relationship

with knowing

to see

the way to see

is to quit looking


if you're looking for some thing

you may not see what actually is

memorizing

teaching others to memorize stuff

is one way to destroy their mind

there are others

laws

how the few enforce their will

on the many


usually just starts with rules of conduct

which often seem harmless enough

for a while

but the enforcement of the rules

becomes more aggressive

and punishment becomes more involved

and soon little joy is found in life

and a great nastiness comes into being


and here we are

control

probably the stupidist word of all


life is a gift

and for ever free


any thing less than freedom

is knot the way

which leads to pressure

and frustration

and lots of other nasty stuff


the steam engine was a clue

it always needs a regulator

or it will explode

and the modern world has many regulators


this is a land of law

and law enforcement


law is a limiting word

and no friend of life

mine

perhaps the most selfish word of all

me

perhaps the smallest word of all

ridicule

to ridicule the old

is one way we ridicule our self


to ridicule the young

is an other way we ridicule our self


to ridicule the ignorant

(from our particular point of view)

is also an other way we ridicule our self


ridicule is a pretty stupid word

as is other

profit

the goal of capitalism appears to be

always cut costs and increase profits

which is an unnatural act

and the road to nothing


every atom in the universe cycles

as does all of lifes manifestations

all has a top and a bottom

and a left and a right

life is all a round

and who knows what else


trying to turn life into a machine that works for you

is a great crime against life and your self

and a pretty dangerous game to play

and arrogant as hell

and not very nice

bad people

there aren't really bad people

mostly they are just confused and frustrated


no one really owns the land

yet so many think they do
